Born in 1962, Can Köklü completed his high school education at Saint Joseph French Boy’s High School, and he completed his undergraduate education and graduated from Istanbul Technical University's Electrical Engineering Department. He is married and has one child. In 1987, he started his career as a Control Engineer at Club Med. He served as the Construction Site Chief at Günsa Elektrik Ltd between 1988 and 1989, and worked as the Regional Officer at Telemecanique between 1990 and 1993. He had  served as the Regional Manager of Bursa at Schneider Elektrik between 1993 and 1997.

Can Köklü joined the Kontek family in 1997 as a company partner and made a significant contribution to the current state of the Istanbul organization with its Product Sales capabilities in the industry. With the consolidation of Kontek companies in 2004, he continued his career as the Product Sales Director of Kontek Otomasyon A.Ş. Can Köklü, who has shared his engineering experiences with all the teams since he started his business life, continues to be a member of the Executive Board in charge of Energy Efficiency and Drives Services at Kontek Enerji, which has been operating in the industry for more than 25 years.
